Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct resident care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule. Monitor and document residents’ conditions, including vital signs, responses to treatment, and any significant changes. Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other support staff to ensure quality care and compliance with standards. Participate in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, complete required documentation and assessments. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding care plans, progress, and concerns. Ensure proper infection control and safety procedures are consistently followed. Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and staff training initiatives. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations. Uphold confidentiality and residents’ rights at all times.
