Our field based Advanced Practice Providers are equipped with everything needed to treat common to complex injuries and illnesses in the home through comprehensive health assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management, for patients of all ages. Our innovative model allows us to provide definitive care in the home, including point of care laboratory studies, minor procedures, splinting, wound care, suturing, IV fluid and medication administration. We provide whole person care by facilitating timely follow up and care coordination. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills, strong communication abilities and a commitment to compassionate care. What You'll Do Shift Scheduling: May start as early as 8AM or 10AM depending on the market. You will need to be available to work a mix of both early morning and late afternoon shifts for each 10-hour shift. If you elect to work additional shifts, you will receive extra shift pay (in addition to your salary). Weekend Scheduling: You will be required to be available for assignment of at least four (4) weekend days during each 28-day scheduling cycle. Holiday Schedule: You are expected to work three (3) holidays annually. Solo Requirement: You will drive to the patient’s place of residence in a DispatchHealth branded “Rover” and will independently deliver care. Treat patients as a mobile unit and driving in a company vehicle to the place of service. Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat mild to complex illnesses. Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care and minor procedures. Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice. Accurately and thoroughly document your patient encounter and ensure accuracy. Analyze test data to diagnose, treat and arrange appropriate follow up for the patient to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families on how to treat their illness or condition and manage their health and well-being. Effectively navigate difficult conversations related to end-of-life issues and goals of care. Communicate effectively and clearly with patients, family, the medical power of attorney, primary care provider and all individuals involved in the patient’s care. Salaried position- Annual salary ranging $70k-84k DOE Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Supervisor include: Evening supervision of personnel Participate as requested in the interviewing and hiring process Maintaining consistent practices with company mission Effectively communicates performance expectations Ensure assignments are completed for the evening and night shift Attend and participate in stand down meeting. Requirements of RN Evening Supervisor: Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Florida. Must have clinical experience, education or specialty skills specific to geriatrics. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our customers and families and to work cooperatively with others. Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
