Responsible for cost effective operations and initiatives, including product evaluation, prevention of waste & damage, materials management, patient flow, control of overtime, & appropriate staff mix. Able to provide safe, quality care directly to a surgical patient as needed. Manages employees, schedules, time and attendance and performance management. Set clear goals and expectations; provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews. Develop talent through mentoring, training, and career development initiatives. Promote a collaborative and engaging work environment that aligns with company values. Manage conflict and make timely decisions to maintain team focus and performance. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development conversations. Approve timecards, schedules, time-off requests, and other administrative HR functions. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred. Current and valid registered nurse license required. CPR certification required. At least 5 years’ total clinical experience; with two years in nursing administration/OR management; computer skills.
