Description St. Croix Health is looking for a full-time (0.9 FTE) Materials Management Assistant to join our team. This position will work Monday through Friday, day shifts. This position is responsible for assisting the Materials Management department with purchasing, receiving, storing and distribution of all supplies and equipment throughout the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Inventory management. Accurately maintain central supply storage Ensure data within materials management information system is accurate and up-to-date Track shipping and receiving activity as required by department process/procedure Log missed shipments and inventory stock-outs Follow physical inventory procedures to ensure sufficient stock of required materials is on-hand Purchase supplies and equipment as needed/requested following organization policies and procedures Participate in annual inventory processes as assigned Maintain shipping and receiving documents 2. Distribution of materials, supplies and equipment. Unload materials when received Responsible for distributing assigned materials, supplies and equipment throughout organization Collect mail and packages for shipment and distribution to designated recipient 3. Description Full-time CMA/LPN Clinical Technicians St. Croix Falls, WI 3 positions currently available: 1.0 FTE Internal Medicine/Pediatrics position 0.8 FTE Specialty Float position 0.8-1.0 FTE Oncology position Hours would be Monday - Friday with an occasional weekend if needed. These positions are responsible for planning and managing patient care according to patient need. Responsibilities also include rooming and interviewing patients, recording medical history and physical condition information including taking and recording patient vital signs. Description St. Croix Health is looking for a part time (0.6 FTE), Nursing House Supervisor to join our team! This position works day shifts (7 am - 7:30 pm), every third weekend and holiday. The House Supervisor is a representative of patient care/hospital administration on all shifts. The position safeguards the quality of patient care, meeting the needs and goals of St. Croix Health. The House Supervisor is responsible for the management and coordination of all hospital departments and personnel on the off shifts and weekends in the absence of direct line managers. Support overall patient care departments operating goals and needs by managing the off shifts, weekends, and holidays according to established plans for safe and effective staffing to assure high quality patient care. Collaborate with all disciplines, providers, and patient’s families to achieve mutually-defined patient care goals. Provide shift oversight for patient care practice, nursing care accountabilities for safe and effective delivery of care. Ensure uninterrupted quality of care by assisting with transitions of care. Analyze and evaluates complexities and volumes of nursing care required and adjusts staffing resources accordingly. Initiate discipline as needed to address emergent needs in any department during the off shift and weekend coverage and when there is not a designated dept. supervisor readily available or in house. Consult immediately with department leader and/or administrator to review situations and process to follow. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities. Make critical adjustments and contacts to obtain needed equipment, services, resources. Conduct regular rounds to all clinical care units to ensure resource needs and clinical care needs are discussed and solutions explored/implemented to support overall goals and patient care needs. Provide oversight and acts as a resource for clinical staff. Intervene in patient/family or provider complaints, supporting effective communication and conflict resolution. Provides necessary documentation of events and initiates appropriate follow-up. Act as a liaison to Infection Control; serving as clinical resource, ensuring negative air pressure status is achieved, assisting with employee TB skin testing, fit testing if necessary, obtaining necessary consents, and any other necessary function to assure that all infection control practices are in place and followed on a shift-by-shift basis. Ensure compliance with all regulations, hospital policies/procedures and protocols to maintain a safe patient care environment. Serve as the risk management liaison; channeling issues in accordance with hospital policies/procedures and regulatory requirements. Supports timely and accurate reporting of all patient/visitor incidences, assists to monitor, and support infection control and security standards established by the organization/department. Primary responder and coordinator for emergency situations. Actively supports and is involved in Emergency Operations Plan and other related activities. Respond to all emergencies as a key member and coordinates as defined by policies and practices. Provide skilled patient care in the Emergency Department and Obstetrics. Description St Croix Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist. Working shifts include Monday-Friday, standard business hours. This full-time position will be based in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin with periodic travel to community clinics as needed. This role requires on-site presence throughout first six months. Limited remote work may be available in the future, and will be subject to the needs & demands of the team. The Clinical Informatics Specialist provides and coordinates organization-wide training and support to clinical staff and end-users of the Epic (Excellian) EMR platform. This role is responsible for the onboarding of clinical staff and providers, as well as the ongoing training and support of Epic/Excellian at St. Croix Health. This role also serves as St. Croix Health’s Epic/Excellian champion, subject matter expert, and Allina Affiliate liaison. The Clinical Informatics Specialist collaborates with clinical teams to understand and analyze EMR workflows, to design and create effective, efficient solutions that support organizational goals and improve patient experience. This role is part of Information Technology Team and acts as a liaison between IT and St. Croix Health’s clinical practice. 1. Facilitate and Manage Epic/Excellian User Access: Ensure providers and staff have the appropriate user access permissions needed for their specific functions on day one, including the tools and applications required to fulfill the associated role. Periodically review and update user lists and user access levels to ensure appropriate access and maintain data privacy and system security across multiple applications and toolsets. Ensure timely deactivation of user accounts for individuals who leave the organization or no longer require access. 2. Provider Onboarding, Training, and Support: Provide hands-on training sessions, allowing providers to practice using Epic/Excellian in a controlled environment. Offer dedicated support during the initial onboarding phase to address any questions or issues providers may encounter. Provide continuous support through helpdesk services, regular check-ins, and refresher training sessions as needed. Offer personalized training sessions and support for users who need additional help or have specific questions. Create and distribute training materials, user guides, and FAQs to support learning. Customize set up for new employees Excellian needs for ordersets/smartsets, preferences, templates, professional fees/Level of service. Etc. Attend medical staff meetings as needed to teach and promote efficiency and updates to clinical workflows. Epic/Excellian Champion and Subject Matter Expert: Actively promote the benefits and importance of Epic/Excellian across the organization. Provide ongoing education and refresher courses to keep staff updated on new features, best practices, and changes in the system. Analyze current clinical workflows and identify ways to integrate and utilize Epic/Excellian more effectively, and to better align it with the specific needs and workflows of different departments and specialties. Develop and disseminate best practice guidelines for Epic/Excellian use, based on clinical evidence and user feedback. Continuously seek improvements of training materials, processes and methodology. Utilize new technology to develop new and efficient ways to deliver training to end-users. Keep abreast of the latest developments in EMR, informatics, and related clinical technology, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of clinical innovation. 4. Allina Affiliate Liaison: Regularly communicate with clinical staff to understand their needs, concerns, and suggestions related to Epic/Excellian and communicate back to Allina via the available affiliate channels. Description St. Croix Health is currently seeking a scheduled part-time (0.6 FTE) Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse to join our team. This position will work night shifts (7 pm - 7:30 am). Schedule will include every third weekend and holiday. The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all age spans and for providing an environment of unsurpassed service. This position will demonstrate proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contribute to nursing assessment and the development of a nursing care plan, and participate in the evaluation of nursing care. The Monarch Float Pool was created to help offer staffing assistance to our own Monarch facilities. Pick your own shifts based on the needs of Monarch Healthcare Management. Travel is expected for this position and there are benefits available. Qualifications: Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse. Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care or be willing to get one upon hire. Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities preferred.
