Job Description Summary The QAPI and Regulatory Compliance RN is responsible for QAPI process for assigned agencies. The QAPI and Regulatory Compliance RN is responsible for ensuring that assigned offices are complying with the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) standards, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) conditions of participation and other regulatory licensures requirements. This casual position will be based at our Roseville clinic with potential for coverage at our Lino Lakes and Hugo clinics. This casual position will pick up shifts Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 6:15pm. This role requires availability to train 3-4 days per week for the first several week with the length of training time determined on experience level. In addition, after training is completed, we require availability of a minimum of 2 days/week to pick up shifts between the hours of 6am – 6pm. The Medical Assistants at North Suburban Family Physicians are responsible for a variety of duties including: Perform Functions That Support/provide Patient Care Patients are roomed according to rooming and/or clinic guidelines. Vital signs and other pertinent physical measurements are obtained and recorded accurately. Medication and clinical procedures are administered (according to authorized policy and demonstrating proficiency) and documented according to North Suburban Family Physicians policy. This may include DISCUS or AIMS assessment. Charts are reviewed for the presence of pertinent information relevant to today’s encounter. This may include Prepared Practice work as developed by the team. Needed and requested health educational materials are provided to the patient and documented. How you make a difference The Charge Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the total health care delivery system in their assigned nursing unit, including the collection and evaluation of health status data, nursing diagnosis, goal setting, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. They provide direct supervision of patient teaching and ensure that ancillary personnel only perform services for which they are qualified. The Charge RN is accountable for the overall quality of patient care in their assigned unit. Key Responsibilities Supervising the total health care delivery system in their assigned unit, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, and coordinating patient care with other departments. Monitoring nursing service, maintain accurate records, and identify potential problems, proposing corrective actions as needed. Assisting with staff orientation, training, and evaluations, and coordinate staffing levels to meet contractual requirements. Ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of the unit and maintain appropriate levels of medical equipment and supplies. Maintaining a professional atmosphere and attend monthly staff meetings as directed by the Director of Nursing or Administrator. How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies. Collaborates in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines. Assists in medical or minor surgical procedures, implements nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and documents nursing encounters using SOAP charting, ensuring effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel. Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care.
