This position will work both inpatient and outpatient setting. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides appropriate patient care to include recording patient psychiatric history, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, discharge planning and providing accurate medical record documentation for patients in a psychiatric setting. The Director of Nursing leads a team including RNs and LPNs for an assigned region to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person will support teams with day-to-day operations and challenges to ensure the medical and healthcare needs of the individuals we support are met.
