Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON) Location: Confidential – Skilled Nursing Facility (Pennsylvania) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary A well-established skilled nursing facility in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead all nursing operations. The DON is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and clinical excellence in accordance with state and federal requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee all nursing services, clinical programs, and nursing staff Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania DOH , CMS , and federal regulations Maintain survey readiness and lead the facility through state and federal surveys Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing leadership and staff Collaborate with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team Ensure accurate clinical documentation and care plan implementation Monitor quality measures, infection control, and risk management initiatives Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care Participate in hiring, training, and performance management Ensure appropriate staffing levels and competency of nursing staff Qualifications Active Pennsylvania RN license required Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility strongly preferred Thorough knowledge of PA DOH regulations , CMS guidelines, and survey process Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage clinical teams and drive quality outcomes Experience with QAPI, infection control, and clinical audits Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Supportive ownership and leadership team Stable, long-term opportunity in a well-run facility
