Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinical Imaging Supervisor, and in collaboration with the Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac Non‑Invasive Cardiology Attending Cardiologists, this role evaluates patients referred for cardiac stress testing in accordance with established guidelines. Responsibilities include reviewing patients’ medical histories and performing focused cardiovascular assessments prior to testing. The position administers exercise and pharmacologic stress tests in Nuclear Medicine, cardiac echocardiographic stress tests, and exercise treadmill stress tests. It also involves administering Definity contrast‑enhancing agents and performing agitated saline bubble studies, when indicated per protocol, for patients undergoing echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Additionally, the role provides initial patient management in the event of arrhythmias or other adverse events that may occur during stress testing.
