Clinical Nurse – Radiotherapy Services Location: Howard University Hospital – Washington, DC Role Summary Howard University Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse – Radiotherapy Services to join our Oncology team. This role provides professional nursing care to patients receiving radiation therapy treatments and supportive oncology services. Who We Are Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. We do not replace existing care teams; we enhance them, providing an extra layer of support with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to children with medical complexity. The primary location for this role is remote with travel to patient homes in and around the Washington, DC area. The schedule is expected to be Monday – Friday 10am - 6pm local time. What You’ll Do As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist & Acute Care Registered Nurse with Imagine Pediatrics, you will serve as the clinical bridge between the home and virtual care environments, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and families with medical complexity. Your primary focus will be providing in-home and community-based care, while flexing into our acute care registered nurse role to support virtual nursing and urgent needs when needed. In this role you will: Travel to members’ homes or community settings to deliver episodic, longitudinal, and urgent care support. Build trusted relationships with patients and families, ensuring compassionate, coordinated care. Collaborate as part of an integrated care team including physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, navigators, social workers, and therapists to provide seamless support across medical, behavioral, and social needs. Conduct and document in-home assessments, perform procedures (ear irrigation, point of care testing, IVs and lab draws, wound care, medication administration), provide patient and family education and follow-up care using the Imagine Pediatrics care platform.
