Certification/Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association (AHA) required Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) required or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by American Medical Technologist (AMT) required or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) by National Center for Competency Testing required Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program OR one (1) year of experience (in addition to the one year of experience required to meet the experience requirement) AND certification may be substituted for Medical Assistant training program. Minimum Experience: One year of related experience Physical Requirements: Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
