Uses increased knowledge, skills, and experience to understand situations holistically and plans and adjusts accordingly. Quickly recognizes variations from the anticipated course, thinks critically, modifies plans, makes appropriate decisions, recognizes salient patient care issues, and focuses on long term goals. Required Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma Recommended Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required Work Experience: 1 of the following Recommended Work Experience: Demonstrated performance of 100% at the previous level and score within documented RN II/III levels via ACHieve career ladder for internal employees., Nursing - 3 years of experience Required Certifications: Certification specific to patient population - , Registered Nurse (RN) license - Arkansas or Compact State Recommended Certifications: Description 1. Provides individualized patient and family education at proficient levels in increasingly complex care situations and serves as a resource in guiding others. Proficiently assesses patient and family learning needs and develops appropriate individualized education plans. Assesses completeness of all patient and family education and recognizes additional needs in comprehensive interdisciplinary teaching. 6. Advances evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence, patient's and family's preferences and values, and team's clinical expertise at a proficient level. Collaborates with others to search for and apply evidence to guide clinical practice. 7. Exemplifies, supports and serves as a resource for understanding the AC Professional Practice Model. Evaluates own performance to identify areas of strength and needs for professional development. Provides input for peer evaluations and mentors others. 8.
