Posts tests and examination results immediately. 6. *Upon direct assignment, supports provider(s) in a primary role, coordinating and facilitating patient care and follow up to achieve quality patient care and customer service goals. 7. *Ensures that exam rooms are clean and well stocked with necessary equipment and supplies. 8. *Prepares equipment and aides physician during examination of patients. 9. *Performs electrocardiograms. 10. *Dispenses medication as directed. Observes and records patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments, and reports same to provider. 11. *Educates patients and their families about diagnostic procedures, medications, post-treatment instructions, nutrition and maintenance of general health and wellness. 12. *Understands diagnosis allowed for ordering tests/procedures to ensure reimbursement. 13.
