Job Summary: Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. Nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, Nursing Department and regulatory standards. Duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area which includes: Day surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic and hospital needs of conscious sedation for special procedures. Use skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care, recognizing post anesthesia and post-operative complications. Facilitates discharge and transportation of patients to outlying nursing units or home. Participates in 24 hour call rotation. Education and Training: Minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing required; BSN preferred. Licensures/ Certifications: Current Washington State RN license; Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR and PALS certification cards on hire. Experience: Prefer at least one year experience in a hospital or outpatient surgery clinic. Ensures that workflow through the clinics maximizes provider efficiency. Training and Development Responsible for developing and implementing standardized clinic programs, policies, and procedures, addressing the needs of those we serve. Directs implementation of needs-based leadership and staff education programs for individuals and the group. Utilizes a variety of educational resources available within and outside of the organization. Provides direction and guidance to the onboarding of new employees. Job Summary Provides basic nursing care support to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Job Summary: Performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. About our Residency: Our Residency Program transitions new graduate nurses into practice with emphasis on inter-professional, collaborative, and patient-centered care. Our comprehensive curriculum includes classroom-based training and bedside learning with trained Preceptors.
