Overview The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an important member of the patient care team, supporting patients, nurses and also overall unit functioning. The CNA is responsible for helping create and maintain a safe, healing environment for our patients, and a healthy working environment for the care team. Ensures all patient safety interventions are in place at all times - such as keeping call light and patient belongings within reach of patient; bed/chair alarms are on and functioning; and/or all other patient specific interventions as directed by the RN Assists RN to answer call lights quickly and determines how best to assist a patient.
