We are a Stroke Center, Chest Pain Accredited, and a Level 3 Trauma Center. The unit sees 40,000 plus patients annually (birth to end of life). In addition to providing emergency services to patients of all ages the department supports victims of sexual abuse with specially trained sexual assault nurse examiners (SANE). The ED has about 80 staff members – Nurses, Techs, and HUCs. Schedule Details: This .6 FTE commits to 24 hours per week. This position is two 12 hour night shifts per week, hours are - 1700-0530 and 1900-0730, every other weekend/holiday rotation. This is not a seasonal or temporary position. What You Will Do: The Clinical Nurse is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families.
