About the Practice This location houses multiple Gastroenterology providers. Both APPs and physicians work out of this clinic, with physicians working in office seeing patients and also working within endoscopy space to scope patients. Job Summary Serves as a subject matter expert for medical assistants in the practice. Performs a variety of medically related and clinical tasks by assisting providers with direct patient care. Essential Functions Performs all intermediate Medical Assistant duties. Responsible for training new staff using organizational published policies, procedures, validation forms, standard work and may act as clinical preceptor. General Summary: Under the direction of the Office Manager, the Medical Assistant performs administrative and clinical duties to care for patients in an ambulatory setting.
