Job Description Our GI clinic in Overland Park is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team! This position is approximately 70% on the phones and 30% rooming. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, equally comfortable dealing with insurance companies and patient concerns. On the phones, you will work with prior authorizations, medication refills, scheduling, referrals, and procedure follow up care. Our rooming expectations are standard – obtain vitals, perform medication reconciliation, and review medical history. Previous GI experience is a plus, but not required.
