RN Specialized - Per Diem - Urgent Care - Torrey Pines

This is a per diem/casual, non-benefited position working a 12-hr day shift schedule. Weekends are required on a rotating basis, generally 2 weekend shifts per month. Located in La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Clinic.

What You'll Do

• Hands-on experience with a wide variety of emergency patients.
• An array of education opportunities and are actively involved in process improvements.
• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and document patient interactions.
• Practice infection control.
• Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications
• 1 year of recent adult emergency services experience
• Be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing
• Recent and/or extensive ED experience as an RN

Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
