The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides psychiatric and medical services to assigned patients which included diagnosis, mental status evaluation, pharmacologic management, risk assessment, and use of physical examination, laboratory, imaging, and other discipline assessments as necessary. This position also leads the interdisciplinary treatment team which includes coordination of interdisciplinary clinical formulation and biopsychosocial treatment plan goals, interventions, delivery and outcome assessment.

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration.
- Possession of a current Oregon Nurse Practitioner license issued by the Oregon State Board of Nursing; AND
- A current Prescriptive Authority Certification within the Oregon APRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Scope of Practice.
NOTE: Some positions may allow for Certifications/Licenses at time of appointment rather than at time of application.

- This announcement is for two, full-time, permanent, AFSCME represented Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) based in Salem, Oregon.

- Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check, abuse check, and a driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.
- The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
