Summary
  • This position performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.
  • This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties
  • Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
  • Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
  • Review medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred. 
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required.
  • Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment is required.
  • 1 year of hospital or clinic nursing experience preferred.

Details Registered Nurse - PACU PACU Part Time Status Variable Shift Sign-On Bonus Available Pay: $32.00 - $51.20 / hour Summary This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to standards. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Duties Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record. Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN Preferred. RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure. State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days of hire is required. BLS certification required within 90 days from start date. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 days of start date. Prior clinic or hospital experience is preferred.
