Summary
  • This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to standards. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care. May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.
  • The RN Inpatient works under the supervision of a Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
  • Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes.
  • Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.
  • Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.
  • Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN Preferred.
  • RN  - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure. State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days of hire is required.  BLS certification required within 90 days from start date. ACLS  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 days of start date.
  • Prior clinic or hospital experience is preferred.

May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff. This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care. Duties Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures. Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome. Review medical charts for completeness. Details Registered Nurse First Assist Operating Room Full Time Status Day Shift Pay: $38.89 - $62.22 / hour Summary This position assists the flow of patient care to make certain needs are met in a timely fashion. Communicates with other members of the specialty team to facilitate the care of the patient and the goals of the specialty team. This position works under the supervision of the Director and the operating surgeon and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Assumes responsibility for setting up and passing instruments, labeling medications, holding retractors, assisting the surgeon, and assists with circulating duties as necessary. Applies principles of asepsis and infection control skillfully Applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology and operative technique relative to operative procedures wherein the RNFA assists. Provides exposure through appropriate use of instruments, retractors, suctioning and sponging techniques. Handles tissue as directed by the surgeon during the operative procedure. Assists with positioning, prepping, draping of the patient, and with transfer of the patient to and from the operating room. Applies surgical dressings. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred. Successful completion of accredited course in surgical assisting or first assisting is required. Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure State of Missouri is required. Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant - CRNFA to be verified through Mosaic credentialing is required. Covered on Mosaic insurance since RNFA can close cases on their own. Basic Life Support certification required upon hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred. 5 years of diversified perioperative nursing experience; both scrubbing and circulating proficiency is required.
