This position works under the supervision of Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Provider, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
Review medical charts for completeness. Documents all medications, refills, telephone conversations and patient visits in the medical record.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required.
Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of employment is required.
1 year of hospital or clinic nursing experience preferred.

The Registered Nurse – IV Therapy provides and supervises intravenous nursing care to patients of all ages and is a resource for IV-related problems or procedures for the institution. The Registered Nurse is skilled and knowledgeable in a wide range of IV therapy services, a wide range of general nursing skills as well as skills specific to IV Therapy.
