Nurses in 6NW, our 32 Bed dynamic progressive care Surgical Stepdown unit, are dedicated professional nurses trained to care for post lung, liver, kidney transplant patients or those patients who have undergone other surgical procedures. The nurses attend multidisciplinary team rounds, caring for all solid organ transplant patients. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Surgical Stepdown you are responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care for the specialty patient population.
