We are a small, private LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) hospital where we truly work as one team. Our advanced practice providers (NP, PA) collaborate with a dedicated team of Hospitalists and specialists, along with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, to meet the patient's needs. Our patients are medically complex with an average length of stay of around 25-30 days. This provides us with the privilege of forming more meaningful connections with our patients and witnessing their recovery firsthand, as well as expanding clinical skills. Summary: The Physician's Assistant (PA) works within the scope of their practice and is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with hospital standards in order to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care. Collaborate closely with in-house hospitalists and specialists on a daily basis. Registered Nurse Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive patient assessments Providing care for patients and management of their conditions, with regard to vital signs and lab work Collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care Assisting the medical staff with in-house procedures Interacting and communicating with patient family members Requirements: Active and unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse licensure. BLS and ACLS certification Minimum 1 year of ICU&/or TCU (stepdown) experience.
