The Exercise Nurse is a licensed registered professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for performing cardiac stress tests using evidence-based practice within in the Cardiac diagnostic testing area. To include: Patient Assessment: Review patient history and evaluate baseline data, EKG’s and blood pressures. Will perform stress test under the supervision of a physician. Communicates with patient and assists the patient when necessary during the exam.
