Nuclear Cardiology Nurse - RN

Job Description​ Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in Nuclear Cardiology to work directly and collaboratively with an exercise physiologist and a nuclear medicine technologist. This role supervises exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for adult and geriatric patients. This position provides advanced ECG and arrhythmia interpretation and recognition. You will be responsible for handling radioactive material. This is a nationally recognized team who is known for its leadership in stress testing with myocardial perfusion imaging. We have been at the forefront of incorporating cardiac positron emission tomography (PET) program, and the first dedicated digital PET camera in the nation. Our program is also dedicated to outcomes and quality of care research and is part of several peer-reviewed scientific papers that have recently been published. This is a team dedicated to patient care and providing a multidisciplinary team approach to achieving positive patient outcomes. Shift Details: Full Time Days No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays. The Work: Direct supervision of exercise and pharmacologic stress testing for both inpatients and outpatients in the nuclear cardiology laboratory. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, equally comfortable dealing with insurance companies and patient concerns.
