Organization: NICU Cohort 22 Job Summary: Job Description Summary: Come join us in our Leve IV NICU! Our NICU has over 119 beds and we care for over 1400 premature or critically ill newborns. In this role you will assist with medical procedures, monitor vials, monitor and run equipment, and support and educate family with compassion and understanding among other responsibilities. UNIT Summary: AJB is our lower acuity area step-down). Nurses in this area would have mixed acuity competencies. Babies are in 3:1 ratios with some 4:1s that would have a Care partner. Babies could have vapotherm, Bubble C-pap up to 6 for both. Over 30 weeks corrected. Some have Nasal Canulas, picc lines, ostomies, etc. The C-I area of the NICU houses some of our most critical patients. Our patient populations consist of cardiac, neurological, renal, complex surgical, and genetic. We provide ECMO, CRRT, and cooling therapies. Patients range from room air to high frequency ventilation. Most patient assignments are 1:1s and 2:1s. Registered Nurse (RN)- NICU Neonatal Critical Care Nurse The NICU RNCC is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Nashville General Hospital is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med Surg Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care given to Med/Surg patients. You will have patient contact during immediate pre, intra, and immediate post-operative periods. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This includes administering medications, coordinating patient care activities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive patient outcomes. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
