What You'll Be Doing Main functions: To deliver nursing care to the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing the nursing process. Functions as a professional nurse and delegates patient care to those under his/her supervision What We're Looking For 7:30am to 4pm, 5 days 8-hour shift. Rotational On-call required on weekdays/weekends Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience: Three years Medical/Surgical experience. Licensure/Qualification: Current RN license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey. Completes IV Certification as per hospital policy. Maintains current BLS and ACLS certification as per hospital policy. Completes I.V. Moderate Sedation education as per Hospital policy. Job Description Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more. Principal Accountabilities Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. Records patient vital signs and medical information. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field. 1+ years of experience in Nursing or relevant area. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification required. ACLS certification.
