What You'll Be Doing The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care. The RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. What We're Looking For Full-time, Night, 12-hour shift. Three (3) years experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing. Critical Care experience required. Recovery Room experience preferred. Associates Degree; BSN Preferred Current New Jersey RN license. BLS, ACLS,( American Heart Association), and PALS. What You'll Be Doing To provide direct, basic medical and personal care to patients in a clinical setting under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. A Patient Care Assistant is also responsible cleaning of specific equipment, stocking supplies and equipment and transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. Their work can involve a great deal of standing, bending, and heavy lifting. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma and completion of 60 Hours UAP course. Experience: Related experience preferred, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred Skills: CPR for Healthcare Workers, Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated people/interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information.
