Under general supervision, the Med ical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) is responsible for providing patient care services, determining medical conditions, and preparing patients for examination and treatment under the direction of the Provider. The MA-NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist prepares for and performs standard x-ray examinations, while using proper technique and positioning per provider orders. How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
