This position is for inpatient care only, covering pediatric cardiology patients at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Heart Center Intermediate Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting, with a focus on inpatient floor management, admissions, and discharges. Prior experience with pediatric cardiac patients is a plus! Cardiology APP (In-Patient) Role and Responsibilities: Manages inpatients in the HCIMU as primary team member (post- surgical and medical patients) and in the NICU as a consultant Delivers direct medical care to hospitalized patients within a hospital setting, performing tasks like patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and communication with attending physicians, all under the supervision of a supervising doctor, while managing the complexities of acute care situations within the inpatient unit.
