Responsibilities Provide holistic acute-care nursing for adult inpatient Med/Surg patients. Assess and care for patients with diverse physical and psychological conditions. Administer medications (oral, IM, SQ, IV) and blood products. Insert and manage peripheral IVs; maintain central lines. Perform phlebotomy and bedside testing. Manage isolation precautions & infection control procedures. Complete wound care and dressing changes. Respond to emergencies and provide BLS/ACLS‑level care as indicated. Document care accurately in CPRS/VistA. Work 12‑hour shifts, including alternating weekends. Care for COVID‑positive or PUI patients as required. Qualifications Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory. AHA BLS required; ACLS for critical care. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN or higher preferred. At least 2 years of recent direct patient-care experience within the last 3 years (acute inpatient experience).
