Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for the provision and oversight of professional nursing care and medical care prescribed by the Licensed Healthcare Provider (Physician, APRN, or PA). Supports a provider in a primary role, coordinating and facilitating patient care and follow up. Assists provider with examinations and procedures to serve the medical needs of patients with various cardiac and vascular related health conditions in a professional, confidential, and caring manner. Provides care that is beyond the practice scope of LPN II and CMA II assigned to support a provider in a primary role; including triage of patient follow up, patient teaching, and abnormal test result communication. Accountable for having knowledge of and complying with the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act and other relevant State Nurse Practice Acts, any applicable licensure/certification requirements, as well as, organizational policies and procedures.
