You’ll ensure their health and well-being while working in alignment with the mission and core values of Newport Healthcare. Plus, enjoy a shift differential for your late-night dedication! SHIFT: Per Diem What You’ll Do: Administering medications and monitoring vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. Evaluating medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with our Nurse Practitioners and Physicians. Developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed. Monitoring chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions. Maintaining comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols. Collaborating with Care Coordinators regarding medication management and refills. Participating in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care. Qualifications Possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state applying for work. Experience in residential nursing a plus. Compensation for this role ranges from $42.81 - $57.78 per hour, depending on education and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization. Applicable State Requirements All States Must pass the applicable state/agency background check required for the work location jurisdiction, prior to employment. Pre-employment drug screening.
