Overview Regional Nursing Supervisor-Manager Seven Hills Community Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation To advocate for all medical needs of assigned program participants focusing on optimal health for all assigned individuals in the Seven Hills Community Services (SHCS) Residential Care setting. Supervise the coordination of medical services and nursing staff in the Southeast. As a credentialed supervisor, you will manage credentialed and professional personnel, ensuring that services are delivered with expertise and in alignment with professional standards, program objectives and our core values. Your leadership will encompass staff and resource management, guiding your team to provide compliant, high-quality support to our service recipients while adhering to best practices and organizational and professional standards. Select programs have a greater number of assigned nursing hours and thereby a greater oversight responsibility. Institute appropriate follow up and communicate all medical issues to: Residential Manager, Health Care Director, Area Director, and any other appropriate Seven Hills Community Services (SHCS) staff. Maintain, Review, and supervise all medical care services in Southeast. Provide supervision and training to northeast nursing staff. Medication Administration Program (MAP) trainer and Medication Administration Program (MAP) oversight with reports to facilitate compliance. Attend and participate in residential staff meetings and provide in-service training of residential staff on medical topics as needed. Complete reports in accordance with regulations. Facilitate effective communication with participant’s physician to obtain medical information and treatment. Document medical needs of participants and interventions as needed. Advise the Health Care Director of any medical problems that may hinder a person’s progress or placement in current residential setting. Foster the growth of individuals and to treat them with respect, dignity and in an age and culturally appropriate manner. Be familiar with the regulations and statutes governing and insuring the human rights of program participants. Implement procedures and services including medical interventions, or additional duties, as assigned by the Health Care Director of Seven Hills Community Services (SHCS). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience: Registered Nurse with current MA license. 2-3 years working in a residential setting with disabled adults. Supervisory experience 2 years. Vacation Cash-Out Option 3 Paid Personal Days 11 Paid Holidays Accrued Paid Sick Time Responsibilities Assess and coordinate healthcare services for program participants in collaboration with clinical and residential teams Communicate medical updates and follow-up needs to relevant staff, including the RN, Residential Manager, and Health Care Director Accompany and assist individuals with medical appointments as required by care plans and DDS standards Document all nursing interventions, health changes, and communications in TIER and other designated systems Review and support implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs), including self-medication, hygiene, and therapy routines Maintain and monitor medication and treatment orders; report side effects or concerns to appropriate parties Train staff on medication administration policies and ensure adherence to protocols Keep health records current and compliant with DDS regulations Share relevant health information with residential and day program staff to ensure continuity of care Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and mandatory in-service trainings Promote safety, dignity, and respect for all individuals supported Uphold confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions Collaborate effectively with the care team and contribute to a positive, team-based environment Perform additional duties or medical interventions as assigned by nursing leadership Qualifications Education & Experience: LPN or RN with current MA license. Associate's degree required 1 – 3 years of related experience Knowledge of medication administration procedures and familiarity with the Medication Administration Program (MAP) preferred. Skills and Knowledge: Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record required. Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with scope of practice Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Understanding of and ability to comply with HIPAA, DDS regulations, and healthcare standards Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to handle medical emergencies and follow safety protocols CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Commitment to providing person-centered, respectful, and inclusive care Why Join Seven Hills Community Services?
