Excellent written and verbal communication and public speaking skills. Ability to impart information in the appropriate manner for adult learners with varied educational backgrounds. Organized, flexible, and innovative. Conducts, coordinates, and evaluates orientation and precepting process for all new team members. Assures new team members receive a comprehensive orientation to support their role through mentoring, precepting and educational support. Reviews and revises orientation program, preceptor program, and orientation at least annually and as needed. Participates in assigned committees, community outreach, and educational opportunities as needed. Determines clinical and operational learning needs using feedback from the Educational Committee, Directors and other departments as needed. Conducts annual and ongoing skills competencies with clinical team members. Reviews, updates and creates competencies annually and when changes to processes occur.
