Operating Room Registered Nurse at Onyx and Pearl Surgical Suites The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. Qualifications: Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state. 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator required. Current American heart BLS certification. Job Description Summary: This position will support the Advanced Heart Failure program at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4:30 PM, No Weekends and No Holidays. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse health care settings. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
