A Registered Nurse II at DBHDS is responsible for providing advanced nursing care for patients with psychiatric disorders in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards and regulations. Registered Nurses are also responsible for safely implementing the use of Seclusion/Restraints including knowledge of physical/emotional risk factors of the patients served at the facility. This position requires: Successfully complete BLS, Therapeutic Options (TO) and other required training upon employment at facility. Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills, team focused care and professional approach. Must be willing to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled. **This position requires completion of a 4-week New Employee Orientation for on-the-job training. RN House Supervisor- 2nd Shift 10K Retention Bonus

Nursing is what we do! Gretna Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an RN House Supervisor for our 90 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Gretna . The RN House Supervisor 2nd Shift oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees. Qualified candidates will be a licensed RN and have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse as well as experience in acute setting.
