Provide assessment and care of the patient undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures included but not limited to percutaneous coronary intervention (PTCI) as well as percutaneous vascular intervention under moderate sedation 2. Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies during procedure 3. Demonstrates knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system 4. Provide safe medication administration for the cardiac patient 5. Utilizes appropriate hand off of care amongst healthcare givers 6. Adheres to department standards for documenting patient care 7. Provide education and discharge planning to patient/family. C. Holding Area 1. Provides assessment and care on both pre and post procedure cardiac/vascular patients 2. Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies pre and post procedure 3. Demonstrates knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system 4. Provide safe medication administration for the cardiac patient 5. Utilizes appropriate hand off of care amongst healthcare givers 6. Adheres to department standards for documenting patient care 7.
