Location: Oncology Consultants Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $170,000.00 This APP Position will support the Southwest Oncology Consultants location in Houston, TX as well as our location in Sugarland. Position Summary Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. Key Performance Areas Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. Write prescriptions for: medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and care post-discharge in accordance with written practice protocols. Based on findings, determine eligibility of patients for entry into clinical trials. Interpret and evaluates findings of studies / tests. Relay appropriate information regarding patient care to the collaborating physician. Administer therapeutic measures / obtains specimens as prescribed. Dictate follow-up letters to referring physicians with summaries of treatment, response and plan. Dictate or writes patient history, admissions, progress notes, and discharge notes in a timely manner. Assist in the management of family dynamics and coping mechanisms during acute and chronic phases of patients’ care. Conduct or participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds for assigned patients to ensure patients are receiving appropriate and quality care. Provide on-call coverage and performs hospital rounds as needed. Triage patients to determine urgency of physician evaluation. Document and reports care in an accurate, timely manner using appropriate forms and records. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and to remain flexible in the changing health care environment. Determine work priorities, assign work and insure proper completion of work assignments. Adhere to Company and departmental policies and procedures, including IT policies and procedures and Disaster Recovery Plan. Other duties as requested. Keep work area and records in a neat and orderly manner. Maintain all company equipment in a safe and working manner. Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all patient and employee information at all times as required by the HIPAA regulations. Assist in training new employees to related job duties. Will be expected to work at any Company location to help meet the Company’s business needs as directed by collaborating physician. Will be expected to work overtime when given sufficient notice of required overtime. Position Qualifications/Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant program. Master’s degree required. Certifications/Licenses APRN or PA license in appropriate state. Prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply. Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P). Current BLS. Previous Experience Minimum 5 years experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology. Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient OB/GYN

Job Description We are searching for a Nurse Practitioner for OB/GYN — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will practice in an advanced role to provide care for obstetrics and/or gynecological patients. Includes but is not limited to outpatient roles in pre-natal care, well woman, and gynecology services as well as inpatient roles. The nurse practitioner (NP) works under a delineation of clinical privileges and works collaboratively with other members of the health care team. Practicing under established guidelines and clinical protocols, the NP assumes independent and interdependent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of treatment and procedures. As an advanced practice nurse, the NP is responsible for education, research, consultation and evaluation of clinical practice at various levels. This provider will float between the Pearland clinic and to Main Campus - Pavilion for Women. Qualifications: Required master's degree Science in Nursing -For employees hired with Texas Children’s before 03/01/17, an MSN is required for NPs licensed 01/01/03 or after. -For employees hired with Texas Children’s before 03/01/17, either an MSN or a certificate program is required for NPs licensed prior to 01/01/03. Obtains a comprehensive health, developmental, and family history on patients as documented in the patient’s medical record. Assess the patient’s physical status through the physical examination as documented in the patient’s medical record. Differentiates between normal and abnormal findings as documented in the patient’s medical record. Performs or recommends age-appropriate health screening procedures as documented in the patient’s medical record. Provides health maintenance and health promotion for women of all ages as documented in the patient’s medical record. Performs and evaluates diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests as documented in the patient’s medical record. Analyzes multiple sources of data and formulates a differential diagnosis in collaboration with physicians as demonstrated in the written documentation. Follows established delegation protocols to manage specific patient problems. Formulates a plan of care in collaboration with other health care professionals and documents the plan in the patient’s medical record. Accurately evaluates patient’s responses to interventions and modifies the plan of care demonstrated by written documentation. Consistently demonstrates effective communication skills and works to eliminate communication barriers.
