The patient population in the SICU is 70-80% patients who have experienced a trauma. The SICU’s nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 with the most critical patients being cared for 1:1. The RN Wound Care Specialist supports clinical and nursing home staff in the management of InnovAge admitted participants for acute/chronic wound care and education. They collaborate with the interdisciplinary team daily to coordinate appropriate plan of care as it relates to wound healing. Physical attendance at an InnovAge facility and/or an InnovAge participant home is essential to performing the job duties. Participant Nursing – 70% Assesses, develops, plans, and evaluates care provided to participants while admitted in nursing home settings. Collaborates with physicians, other members of the interdisciplinary health care team, and patient/family in the development, implementation, and documentation of appropriate, individualized plans of care to ensure continuity, quality, and appropriate resources as it relates to wound care. Caregiver Job Duties Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to): Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments Monitoring and reporting on their condition Additional Information Our hiring process is fast and simple! Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it. Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings! Requirements 18 years+ Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
