How you make a difference As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary. Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training. Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary. Additional Details FT Night 12-Hour shifts! Every Sun, Mon, Tues and Mon, Tues, Wed alternating. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. Medical Assistant Location: Rocklin Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM As a Concentra Medical Assistant, you will perform routine medical and testing procedures under direct supervision of the treating clinician. Responsibilities THE DETAILS• Performs ancillary testing and tasks (including but not limited to vaccines and injections, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram testing and respirator fit testing) as ordered by treating clinicians.• Performs rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.)• Prepares patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing all required testing.• Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by treating clinician.• Triages and dispositions all patients• Assists providers during examination and treatment• Prepares for and assists clinician with surgery set up and injury care.• Applies bandages, dressings and splints as ordered by the treating clinician.• Dispenses medications and appliances as ordered by the treating clinician and in accordance with state regulations.• Performs DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.• Maintains and operates all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.• Completes quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices as well as testing processes used in the center.• Maintains supplies, cleans rooms and equipment, and stocks exam rooms.• Notifies supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or facility is not operating as expected.• Manages patient flow and volume. Keeps patients informed of expected wait times• Responsible for clerical tasks in both the front and back office associated with patient care and proper record keeping.
