The LPN is responsible for: practicing within the LPN scope of practice managing any assigned personnel and promoting collaboration among the disciplines. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered. #ZR DEFINITION: Utilizing the nurse process, the health center nurse is accountable for delivery of patient care in the health center during office hours. The health center nurse is responsible for: meeting the established Standards of Nurse Care, managing any assigned personnel and promoting collaboration among the disciplines. The health center nurse is accountable to the Health Center Medical Director, Executive Director, patient and family for all nursing behavior. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. EDUCATION: Completion of a Medical Assistant program. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Must provide a transcript or diploma of completion of a medical assistant program. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years nursing experience in a physician’s office, preferably primary care. BASIC JOB SUMMARY OR PURPOSE - Under the direction of the charge nurse, the certified nurse assistant assists residents with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to residents, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment for the following age groups: adult and geriatric. #ZR
