Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Registered Nurse (RN) Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). As an RN CDCES at UC Health located in West Chester, OH, you will provide specialized care and education to patients with diabetes. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, educate patients and their families on diabetes management, and monitor patient progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

Active registered nurse (RN) license
Certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
Experience in diabetes management and education
Strong knowledge of diabetes treatment modalities, medications, and technologies
Excellent assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary team environment
Passion for providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments and keep up-to-date with evidence-based practices in diabetes care
