This Registered Nurse position is for Part Time Nights on our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

Unit Highlights

Welcome to Medstar Union Memorial, the Heart and Vascular Institute serving Medstar Baltimore. Within Medstar Union Memorial, you'll find the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, comprising 31 beds dedicated to caring for patients with diverse illnesses. Our unit emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to address the comprehensive needs of both patients and their families. Here, you can gain valuable experience in telemetry while benefiting from the numerous educational resources available through Medstar for our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
