OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
- Providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF.
- Providing such professional Advanced Practice Provider services.
- Assisting in the direction and supervision of the daily operation of the Practice and/or OSF Hospital and advising the Ministry CEO concerning the recruitment, selection, retention, scheduling and termination of non-physician personnel providing professional, technical, and clerical services to the Practice.
- Advising the Ministry CEO in the selection, maintenance and utilization of equipment in the OSF Hospital or office setting.
- Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided to the Practice and its patients.
- Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by Provider or other support staff.
- Exercising diligence in assisting the Ministry CEO in keeping costs of the Practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients.
- Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to patients of the Practice and the OSF Hospital aligned to the patient's preferences, goals and needs.
- Provide newborn care in a nursery environment as well as participating in pediatric admissions
- Comfortable preforming routine and complex procedures
- Participate in the newborn education
Providing other services as reasonably requested by the Ministry CEO.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
