Job Description:
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates
Part-Time 7p - 7a
The RN is responsible for managing and providing nursing care for the patient populations on the unit. This includes the immediate, short-term nursing care needs of patients as well as, planning for long-term needs. The KY Nurse Practice Act and established Baptist Health policies, procedures and standards of practice, determine the nurse’s scope of practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of school of nursing with current unrestricted KY license required, or higher.
- Requires good clinical, organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred on hire and required within 90 days of hire.
- NIHSS is mandatory and must be obtained within six months of employment.
- ACLS preferred, required within one year of hire.
- Flexibility in work schedule, shift hours and job duties are required as well as basic computer skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer recent experience in specialty. Recent telemetry unit experience preferred.
