Responsibilities
Will utilize statistical knowledge and programming skills in data management and analysis. Will include collaboration on data collection methods, writing, and archival, as well as the application of appropriate statistical methods for the analysis under the direction of the statistical consultants.

Qualifications
Working towards a Bachelor's degree with a major in statistics/biostatistics, or math or computer science with experience/ course work in applied statistics required. Previous work experience or course work in computer programming and use of software packages for data management and statistical analysis is preferred. Proven written and oral communication skill are essential. Ability to think logically and systematically analyze and evaluate alternate solutions in problem solving required. Previous experience in SAS, Splus, and Ingres on UNIX or Mainframe platforms preferred. Proven competency to work independently preferred.
Previous work experience or course work in artificial intelligence and machine learning and use of software packages for data management and statistical analysis is preferred. Experience in coding with Python, R, Java, C++ or other programming languages, along with Linux/UNIX operating systems preferred.

Compensation Detail
This position has a predetermined rate of $17.47 or $19.00 per hour; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
