About Us - Psych

  • Located at Freeman East, we offer care for the mentally ill population

  • Adult Psych is an inpatient psychiatric locked unit that consists of 42 beds

  • Geri Psych consists of 10 beds

  • The Behavioral Health Units treat acute psychiatric illnesses for this region

What You’ll Do 

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs of the psychiatric patient and families. Plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner for the provision of safe and effective care.

Requirements 

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
