Schedule : Monday - Friday (40hrs/week) About Us – Physician Reimbursement Center (PRC) Located inside the Freeman Business Center Vital part of our revenue cycle Our team consists of over eighty professionals that assure reimbursement for the valued services our clinicians provide What You’ll Do Performs a variety of duties in support of the quality assurance and compliance function of the Physician Reimbursement Center. Performs prospective chart reviews to ensure medical record accurately reflects the patient’s level of service, severity of illness and risk of mortality. Works closely with Medical Staff to clarify, assist and educate with documentation of evaluation and management coding. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, (ICU, Medical/Surgical or Emergency Department nursing preferred). If homebound, must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma. Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse state of residence. Experience and skills in coding, billing and compliance. Relates effectively with interdepartmental and intradepartmental personnel, medical staff, patients, patients families, and outside agencies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory and third party payers. Requirements AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days. Auto liability insurance. Clean driving record. Current driver's license. RN Navigator - Preoperative Anesthesia Assessment Clinic

Schedule: Fulltime What You’ll Do Working under the direction of, and in collaboration with the Director, Assistant Director, Physicians and other staff will develop the department's mission, vision, values, goals, policies, and procedures. Will be responsible to ensure pre-surgical history and physical assessments of patients, which shall include but not be limited to, physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of patients and families and findings of such will be communicated appropriately to the surgeon and consulting physicians. In collaboration with the physician, patient and family education will be provided concerning the surgical procedure, pre-operative requirements (including, but not limited to, home medications and required pre-operative preparation), expectations of the hospital stay, and follow-up care at home. RN - Emergency Department - Nights - $10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Schedule: PRN About Us - Emergency Department The Emergency Department is a 41 bed, Level II Trauma Center, Level II Stroke Center, & Level I STEMI Center More than 45,000 annual visits Staffed 24/7 with Residency-trained, Board Certified Emergency Physicians as well as Physicians, Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners BHAT Behavioral Health Assessment Team provides Psychiatry consulting services on a full-time basis in the Emergency Department The Emergency Department is well established in the region as a heart care leader and has attained world-class ranking in door to balloon times well into the 90th percentile What You’ll Do Facilities with an established SANE program who have contracted with the State of Missouri to be a “hub” site offer consultative SANE services via telehealth to hospitals without 24/7 SANE coverage (“satellites”) in performing sexual assault forensic exams for survivors. Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri, is the “hub” site for the southwest Missouri region. The Missouri telehealth network will provide consultation, guidance, or technical assistance to appropriate medical providers using telehealth services during a forensic examination of a victim of a sexual offense. The State of Missouri will provide equipment and training for Missouri hospitals to ensure hospitals’ ability to conduct forensic examinations In the event an Emergency Department (ED) Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) is not available, the SAFE-T nurse, under guidance of a SANE or another similarly trained appropriate medical provider via the Missouri telehealth network, will conduct a forensic examination and forensic evidence collection in the Freeman Joplin or Neosho Emergency Departments for consenting adult patients who were sexually assaulted within the previous 5 days. The SAFE-T nurse will properly store examination evidence so that it can be collected by a law enforcement agency or placed in long-term storage per the patient’s wishes Requirements Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or completion of AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence. Successful completion of educational training for conducting a SAFE-T provided by the State of Missouri. Education will be provided on the SAFE process, evidence collection and storage, trauma-informed care, and court testimony Preferred Requirements AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
